Hello and welcome to the site of Mark Starford, I started performing stand up comedy as a hobby in 1999 when i was working as a interstate truck driver and just fell in love with performing. As time went by I performed in comedy venues all around Australia. Since 2004 Stand up comedy has been my profession, Entertaining not just in comedy venues but also as a professional corporate comedian and M.C at weddings as well as a guest speaker at many corporate and fundraising evenings such as, Australian firefighters reunion 2005 The SS&A club Albury, NSW, Australia, Convoy for kids 2004, Melbourne, 2005 At Calder Park Raceway, Victoria, Australia, 2006 Melbourne Fresh Fruit Markets, Victoria, Australia, Australian Defence Forces Ladies Evening in 2008 Wodonga,Victoria, Australia, Convoy For Kids Corporate night Rio Restaurant, Richmond, Victoria, Australia, Australian Tattoo Artists Convention 2006, Melbourne, Australia and many more. The highlight of my career thus far would have to be performing as a support act for Bands Such as 3 Doors Down, Powderfinger and Billy Idol at Colonial Stadium Melbourne, Australia in front of 40,000 people for the MMM radio station M1 concert. The work i do with charities such as "Convoy For Kids" and "Camp Quality" are a very important part of my life and career. My travels throughout Australia taking stand up comedy to rural areas raising money for "Camp Quality" is a very enjoyable part of my life with fantastic non financial rewards. Thank you for taking the time to read this short bio, I do hope to upload some video soon but for the moment you can find footage on youtube. Regards Mark Starford

Hey Mark! I gave you a featured spot on the front page as the "Australian Comedian." That is so awesome! I think everyone else here is from the U.S.
